A refreshed take on one of my most loved designs from two years ago, this piece celebrates the spirit of England’s unforgettable Italia ’90 campaign. As the country emerged from the hard edges of the Thatcher years into a new decade filled with optimism, terrace fashion, indie music and rave culture were beginning to redefine what modern England looked and sounded like. “World in Motion” became more than just a football song — New Order’s era-defining anthem perfectly captured the mood of a nation glued to tellies in pubs and living rooms, dreaming of Gazza's mazy runs, Lineker goals and Bobby's England going all the way. At the heart of it all was John Barnes’ legendary rap. Blending football nostalgia with the acid house energy and bold graphic style of the early 90s, this design is a tribute to a summer when England felt united, hopeful and unforgettable.
