The Internationalists
This artwork along with the "When You're Young' pieces was commissioned by The Modfather Clothing Company in the summer of 2022 in collaboration with Admiral Sportswear to sit alongside their Jam and Style Council themed retro football shirts created specifically for the launch of the 'This is the Modern World' exhibition in Brighton. Edition 1/1 of both pieces are still available to purchase direct from Modfather Clothing in either of their Brighton or Camden stores.
The concept behind this piece was to create a similar style montage to the Jam one but to capture TSC own unique style and essence. Taking a strong colour theme that ran through their records and being influenced by sleeve notes and the cappuccino kids musings. I hoped to create a montage pieces that fellow SC fans would appreciate.
